OGRA’s Recommendation and PM’s Approval
The decision was made following the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)’s recommendation and after a review by the Finance Division.
The new prices are set to remain in effect for the next 15 days under the fortnightly pricing mechanism.
Impact on Daily Life
With transport and logistics sectors being directly affected by fuel prices, this reduction is expected to bring downward pressure on commodity transportation costs, which could help stabilize market prices in the coming weeks.
